So here is a little bit of our lives lately...
Christopher has been working still at the hospital and playing basketball..if he is lucky... twice a week. He has stayed home a couple times recently to help me out with the girls.
Jana- I started working at a preschool a few weeks back and am loving it. I started out team teaching the morning class and now I am teaching both morning and afternoon myself. I started both classes as of yesterday. It is so fun and the kids are great! It is only 2 days a week which is nice, and those are the days Christopher doesn't work. This is so nice because when I do have to leave the girls they are with their dad! No babysitters needed. This job is keeping me sane at home which is nice!
The only downside to that is if Christopher has to turn down working for someone because they can't make it. Because in one day I would earn about $30 where he would earn about $100. But luckily that isn't very often.
Haylee has been sick for probably a week and a half. She has been teething and had cold/flu like problems. Poor girl! She turned a corner yesterday and is starting to get some personality again which is a great sign! While sick she has probably watched Finding Nemo...100,000 times...or maybe a few less but yes. Luckily I love that movie too. Watching it seems to keep her mind off her pain. AND she ate breakfast today!! Yay..it's been a struggle to get anything in her since she got sick. But things are looking up.
Rylee has been sick and teething as well. She has got her first two teeth in! Working on some bigger ones! She has had the same thing as Haylee but not nearly as bad. Today she is doing okay but I'm not sure if she is getting worse...we will see. She is easier to get food in when sick, which is nice.
Also, the girls are now in the same room at night! Haylee is still in her crib (as long as she doesn't climb out...no problems yet) and Rylee is still in her pack and play. Once Haylee is in a big girl bed Rylee will go to the crib. They both are sleeping MUCH better in the same room than they did in separate. I am also sleeping much better WITHOUT Rylee in our room! She always ended up in our bed for over 1/2 the night, if not all of it. She has only been in our bed once for a couple hours since we switched her to room with Haylee! YAY!
I better go so I can shower before they wake up from nap time...hopefully! Cross your fingers!
